Not every vehicle offers step-free access or permits travel while seated in a wheelchair. Ask for the exact vehicle solution to be confirmed in writing.
Describe the mobility aid
Provide the type, weight, dimensions and folding method of the wheelchair or walking aid. Electric equipment requires additional details.
Discuss boarding and assistance
Explain whether the traveller can transfer to a vehicle seat and what help is required. This allows the provider to assess what is realistically possible.
Include companions and baggage
Companions, medical baggage and regular suitcases belong in the same capacity plan. A large tailgate does not automatically mean sufficient room.
Arrange airport assistance separately
Assistance inside the terminal is normally coordinated by the airport or airline. Submit that request separately within the applicable notice period.
