Central Pattaya is a grid squeezed between the bay and Sukhumvit Road. Beach Road follows the sand and carries traffic southbound only; Second Road, one block inland, runs northbound. The numbered sois connect the two, from Soi 1 in the north to Soi 13 near the southern end, and Third Road and Soi Buakhao form the next layer inland. Coming off the motorway, your driver enters town via North Pattaya Road or Central Pattaya Road, so a hotel on the far side of a one-way street can mean a short loop through the sois. Hotels on Second Road are a block or two from the sand, and a car can usually stop at the door without joining the Beach Road crawl.
Siam Bayshore Resort Pattaya sits where Beach Road ends and Walking Street begins, with Pratumnak Hill rising behind its gardens. Evenings around here are busy with pedestrians, so arriving in the afternoon is quicker than after dark. Copy the hotel name exactly as it appears on your reservation and, if you have it, add the confirmation address in the notes.
