01Route and travel time to Pattaya
Lak Si lies in the north of Bangkok. From there it goes via the ring road onto Motorway 7 (Bang Na–Chon Buri) and on to Pattaya. Allow around two to two and a half hours for about 140 kilometres. 02Pick-up in Lak Si
Pick-up is directly at your address in Lak Si, at the hotel lobby or at a home address by the building entrance. The driver welcomes you with a name sign; enter the exact pick-up address and the destination address in Pattaya when booking. A short buffer for departure is allowed for.
03Comparing your travel options
From Lak Si there are basically several ways to reach Pattaya: the public intercity bus from the Ekkamai or Mo Chit terminals, sometimes a train with an onward connection, or the private door-to-door transfer. Bus and train are cheap, but first require getting to the terminal, fixed departure times and usually another taxi to the hotel in Pattaya. The private transfer picks you up directly in Lak Si and takes you to your accommodation without changing, which is especially convenient with luggage or in a group.
