You can reach Pattaya from three airports: Suvarnabhumi (BKK), Don Mueang (DMK) and U-Tapao (UTP). A pre-booked private transfer takes you straight to your hotel without changing vehicles and at a fixed price from $53.
The three airports compared
From Suvarnabhumi it is around 120 kilometres and about two hours via Motorway 7. Don Mueang in the north of Bangkok is around 150 kilometres away (about two and a half hours). U-Tapao near Rayong is the quickest at around 45 minutes.
How the pick-up works
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign. Up to 90 minutes of waiting are included at the airport, so things stay relaxed even if baggage claim runs late. Enter your flight number and destination address when booking.
